Overview
Overview
CollabFlow is a SaaS platform for teams to organise work into workspaces and projects. This phase delivers the REST API that the web app is built on.
The Challenge
Several teams share one system, so every request has to be scoped to the right workspace and checked against the member's role — without making the API awkward to use.
The Solution
A layered ASP.NET Core API (controllers, services, DTOs) with JWT authentication, workspace membership and role management, and project endpoints scoped to workspaces. Entity Framework Core migrations manage the PostgreSQL schema, which already models tasks, comments, attachments, notifications and activity logs. PostgreSQL runs in Docker for local development.
